The contractor will supply the ceiling-mounted bracket (Cotton Reel) to mount the pendant on the ceiling
- is it our scope or a 3rd party? – Yes, it is a 3rd party scope. However, please provide details of the cotton reel for the pendant

Patient monitor mount on right pendant head
- what type of monitor? – Patient monitor type to be determined. Please provide a universal channel that can accommodate multiple patient monitor brand

Diagnostic Set mount on right pendant head
- what is a "diagnostic Set"? – Diagnostic set is for ear and eye examination. Please provide the necessary mounting provision.

In this example, the IV poles on the left and the right stand inside a foot holder (at the base) and a claw at the top securing the IV pole.

 

Just below the IV’s foot holder you can see a “CL” for clamp either side of the pendant and under the IV pole.  The clinical staff would typically use these to thread IV lines and or other tubing (Oxygen) through to keep the patient clear of the lines and tubing as well as protecting tention and strain on lines when turning the patient.  They are important in keeping the bed-head and patient area tidy and avoiding accidental dis-connects, etc.

 

NB.  There are two here as the illustration has an IV pole on each side of the pendant arm.
