The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) has conducted an appropriate Request for Tender (RFT) procurement process seeking submissions from suitably qualified service providers for  installation of a security fence around the office and depot site at DELWP Dartmoor.  The initial stage of the fencing project will be to secure the site for construction works to begin and a section will need to be completed after the construction works are completed.

The RFQ process ran initially between the 29/03 and the 14/04, however only 1 (of 3) submission was received and when evaluated by a QS was deemed excessive cost.  A quote was then requested from an additional contractor on recommendation from the QS.

Lee Brothers Fencing is recommended as the contractor for this procurement as they were able to demonstrate the best value for money offer. This included a clarification process that ensured that they had covered all the project requirements.
