Procurement of 4x4 Fire Fighting Vehicles - Request for Tender (RFT) for Package 1: Cab Chassis Procurement

The Department of Environment and Primary Industries (DEPI) is seeking to acquire a fleet of Ultra- Light and Light Off-Road Fire Tankers, and Through-Life support of the acquired fleet. The new fire fleet is expected to perform roles including, response to bushfires, floods and other emergencies as well as routine public land works. The fleet needs to be capable of operating in all off road conditions encountered in Victoria, from desert country to alpine forest, and work in areas that are often remote and where access can be very difficult.

The fire fleet must have exceptional durability and reliability and must be able to operate and remain supported for a minimum of ten (10) years from delivery.
